Question: What happens at a hearing test?

Answer: A complete hearing test includes taking a history, conducting an otoscopic exam to rule our ear wax as a contributing factor to hearing loss and an audiologic evaluation. The audiologist will them review the test results and appropriate recommendations.

Dr. Alison Hoffmann is a board certified and licensed Audiologist and Owner of Advanced Hearing Center with offices in Long Island, Queens and Manhattan. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss as well as performs hearing aid evaluations, testing and maintenance and dispensing of hearing aids, assistive listening devices and custom ear molds.
